Abstract
The main objective of this study was to report the experience of the participation of the interns of the Public Health course in the workshop on territorialization, with the use of the smart map, in the scope of Health Surveillance with the Agents to Combat Endemic Diseases. This is an experience report by 2 interns and professors of the Graduation Course in Public Health at UFPR-Litoral about the workshop entitled. The recognition of the Territory in vector control actions, held on November 11th with the involvement of the Department of Health of Matinhos, the First Health Regional and the Federal University of Paraná, Coastal Sector and participation of Agents to Combat Endemic Diseases (ACEs) of the 7 municipalities of the coast of Paraná. The workshop script had 5 moments, including the presentation of smart maps. The emerging categories, with convergences of subjects, were identified by the observations of the interns (field diaries): permanent health education and teaching-service-community integration, health education and community participation in vector control actions, garbage disposal inadequate, identification of specificities and similarities between the territories. The realization of the workshop proved to be feasible and contributed to professional training, through a process of organization and prior systematization with those involved. The workshop with a smart map contributed to the Permanent Health Education of the ACEs in order to favor a critical look, service-teaching-community integration and identification of specificities and similarities between the territories.
