Abstract
This article addresses the work processes in multidisciplinary teams where the Social Service professional works. This study sought to analyze the participation of these professionals in health. The research presented here went through many scenarios located in Brazil, to study multidisciplinary teams in primary and tertiary care. We identified, in the research of the authors, that the multidisciplinary teams narrate the fragmented work in their daily lives and the need to organize the work process. This, through conflict prevention strategies. The results point to the importance of confronting mercantilist forms of management, given the invisibility of the debate on gender and race in interprofessional relations, which is necessary for the theme of multidisciplinary work in health.
