Abstract

In the National Policy for Humanization the Unified Health System, the host is one of the main guidelines in the promotion humanization of care, organization of the service and strengthening of the link between users and health teams. This paper reports the experience of a group of residents of Mental Health in the municipality of Garanhuns, Brazil, who visited several municipalities in the V Region of Health in the state of Pernambuco. In that, through a collective space of information, they sought to reflect and discuss, together with approximately 130 professional satta secondary level, about the reception of mental health. Withthesemoments, wesoughttoprovideprofessionalswith a broaderperceptionofthereception, specifically in the singularity of the field of mental health. That this technology of care provides a listening of the user, with appreciation of their complaints, identification of the risks and needs, in order to offer an adequate referral of these, and that does not presuppose the specific time or professional to do so.
